Kuwait - ALsharqiya February 27: The Iraqi Veterans National Team was crowned champion of the Gulf Veterans National Team Cup after defeating its Omani counterpart on penalties in the final match. The presenter of the program on Al Sharqiya Channel, Captain Noor Sabri, who won the award for the best goalkeeper in the tournament, had a great impact on the Iraqi team’s victory, after he stopped three penalty kicks and kept Iraq’s goal clean throughout the tournament, so the team achieved victory over its Omani counterpart with a score of 4/3, and the player “Karrar Jassim” received the title of the best player in the tournament. With this coronation, the Iraqi national team became the first champion of the Gulf Cup for Veterans in 2025. The coach of the Veterans National Team, "Hakim Shaker", who received the Creativity Necklace, asked Saad Al-Bazzaz to bring three La Liga analysts to the Eastern Province to participate in the Gulf Veterans, and they also played a prominent role in winning the title.
