Emirates-ALSHARQIYA October 19 : Arab Fashion Week returns with a revised version this season that adapts to the emerging reality imposed by the health emergency conditions resulting from the spread of the Corona epidemic. The activities will extend between 21 and 24 October, and will depend on the default formula that was launched last season.
Live shows will be absent from the Arab Fashion Week events, to be replaced by virtual shows that will be broadcast live to the audience. Microsoft will be one of the official sponsors of this event, which will be broadcast on the official pages of this week and on Facebook, giving it access to about two billion viewers.

The Lebanese star, Maya Diab, is expected to open the activities this week, after the Arab Fashion Council named her "an icon of Arab fashion." Journalist Sally Hajjar has been chosen to conduct the interviews and dialogues that will take place during the four days of this event.
More than 30 designers from different parts of the world will participate in the Arab Fashion Week, provided that there will be a day dedicated to French designers and another day for Brazilian designers who participate for the first time in this event, while the remaining days are dedicated to Arab designers.
This week’s activities include the opening of a showroom in “City Walk” Dubai. Customers will also be able to purchase the pieces that appear in the shows from a dedicated section of the Lafayette Gallery located in the Dubai Trade Center.
