US calls on North Korea to refrain from escalatory actions

Washington-ALsharqiya October 13: Washington called on Pyongyang to refrain from escalatory actions, reiterating the US support for inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation. In a statement after meeting with his South Korean counterpart Suh Hoon in Washington, White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that North Korea should stop inflammatory actions against US allies, stressing that the US administration is obligated to defend its allies in case they are exposed to any threats.
