UNICEF urges the Group of Seven to donate emergency supplies to covax

London-ALsharqiya May 17: The United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, on Monday, issued a serious warning to the G7 countries, that it is necessary to donate emergency supplies to the covax system for vaccines, the emerging corona virus that causes Covid 19, so as not to cause poor countries to turn into dangerous foci of the virus around the world. UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said that the G7 countries need to donate supplies to the covax program to provide vaccines, as an emergency measure to address severe shortages caused by the disruption of Indian vaccine exports. Fore explained that the immediate participation of the available overdoses is the minimum, and an emergency measure is necessary to bridge the gap, which is required immediately, adding that this may help prevent countries at risk from turning into new hotspots of the epidemic in the world.
