Washington-ALsharqiya October 27: The US Senate voted by majority to choose Amy Connie Barrett, the candidate of US President Donald Trump, to fill the vacant position on the US Supreme Court.

  The Senate confirmed Barrett’s nomination by 52-48, completely in line with party lines, to fill the vacant position left by the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an icon of liberalism.
