Tottenham legend and 1966 World Cup champion Greaves dies

England-ALSHARQIYA September 19: The English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur announced on Sunday that former England international striker Jimmy Greaves has died at the age of 81.
Graves, who suffered a stroke six years ago, started his football career with Chelsea FC and scored a record number of goals at the club level, which is 124 goals between 1957 and 1961.
After that, Graves played for Tottenham Hotspur between 1961 and 1970, and scored during this period 266 goals in 379 games, a record that is still holding up until now.
Greaves was also part of the England squad that won the 1966 World Cup and scored 44 goals in 57 international matches for England.
