The United Nations calls for an increase in humanitarian supplies to Syria

New York-ALSHARQIYA  July 10 :  The United Nations called for an increase in the supply of humanitarian aid to Syria across the border, in light of the differences between members of the UN Security Council over the Bab Al Hawa and Bab Al Salam crossings.
Stephen Dujarric, a spokesman for the United Nations Secretary-General, told reporters that the Syrians need to increase aid being transported across the border, not to reduce it.
This comes after the UN Security Council failed to adopt a resolution on extending the operation of the cross-border aid delivery mechanism.
