The Taliban bans shaving of beards and playing music in salons

KABUL-ALsharqiya September 27: The Taliban in Afghanistan's Helmand Province has banned men's beard shaving and music playing in barbershops, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The ministry said in a statement that from today, shaving beards and playing music in barbershops and public baths are strictly prohibited. He indicated that if it turns out that any barbershop or public bathroom has shaved a person's beard or played music, it will be dealt with in accordance with the principles of Sharia and will not have the right to file a complaint.
