Baghdad-ALsharqiya September 26: The Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq issued arrest warrants against a number of participants in the conference calling for normalization with Israel. The council said in a statement that the Karkh First Investigation Court, based on information provided by the National Security Adviser, issued arrest warrants against the so-called Wissam Al-Hardan and Mithal Al-Alusi, and an employee in the Ministry of Culture, Sahar Karim Al-Tai, because of their role in calling for normalization with Israel. The statement indicated that the judicial authorities in Iraq will take all legal measures against the rest of the participants if their full names are known.
