The price of Basra Light crude rises to $85 a barrel

Basra-ALSHARQIYA October 21: The price of Basra Light crude rose, on Thursday, to record above $85 a barrel, in conjunction with the rise in the price of Brent crude in futures contracts to $85.82, the highest level since October 2018.
  Basra crude, exported to Asia, rose 84 cents to $85.30, while Basra Heavy crude recorded a decline of 49 cents to $78.82.
  Oil prices fell on Thursday after witnessing a rise on Wednesday, bringing Brent more than 86 dollars at a time when the world is witnessing a shortage of energy and rising gas prices.
