Baghdad-ALSharqiya, June 9: Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar assured his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman of Iraq’s full commitment to the OPEC + recent agreement to cut production. Abdul-Jabbar said in a statement that he discussed during a phone call with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman the development and strengthening Bilateral relations, cooperation and joint coordination between the two brotherly countries on all issues and areas of common concern. The statement pointed to a discussion of the conditions and developments of the oil market and the efforts of the producers in OPEC + to restore stability and balance to the oil market, confirming Iraq’s full commitment to the agreement to reduce production for the months of June and July / in addition to the reduction program agreed upon for the following period.
