The Iraqi parliament ends the first reading of the bill to finance the fiscal deficit

Baghdad-ALsharqiya, October 24: The Iraqi Council of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law on financing the financial deficit through internal and external borrowing for the remaining months of the current year 2020, which was sent by the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.

Sources in the Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the current approach of the deputies is to approve the borrowing law after making amendments to it and reduce the required amount by about 10-12 trillion dinars.
