The International Space Station celebrates the accession of Mansouri

DUBAI –Alsharqiya 26sep: The International Space Station (ISS) celebrated the arrival of Hazza Al Mansouri, the first Emirati and Arab astronaut, as part of a scientific team including Russian astronaut Oleg Scribushka and US astronaut Jessica Mir. According to the International Space Station, the United Arab Emirates officially became the first Arab country to send an astronaut to the International Space Station and the Emirates News Agency published a video of the first call from Mansouri immediately upon his arrival. He said that the ambition of Zayed today reached the space and embraced the stars, stressing that the coming period will witness new stages and missions
