The International Football History Center announces the best goalkeepers in the world in 30 years

Italy-Eastern February 25: Ceska goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev has been named among the world's 50 best goalkeepers for 30 years, according to the International Center for Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) ranking.
Juventus goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, is at the top of the list as the best goalkeeper (since 1987-2020).
The International Center for Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) used the results of its annual goalkeeper assessments to select a list of the top 50 goalkeepers, which included goalkeepers who were among the top 20 goalkeepers in different years.

Buffon, 43, who is still playing with Juventus so far, got 357 points, and the top three included retired goalkeepers, as Real Madrid and former Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas (260 points) and Czech Petr Cech (218) finished runner-up. Who has previously played for Chelsea and Arsenal.
The list compiled by the IFFHS center also included two Russian guards. Rinat Dasaev, former Spartak goalkeeper, finished 37th with a score (57 points).
The 34-year-old Cska Akinfeev goalkeeper (47 points) came in 47th.

The rankings of the guards in the top 10 are as follows:

4. Edwin van der Sar (Netherlands) - 201

5. Manuel Neuer (Germany) - 200

6- Peter Schmeichel (Denmark) 179

7- Oliver Kahn (Germany) 162

8- Jose Luis Chilavert (Paraguay) 146

9- Walter Dzinga (Italy) 132

10- Andoni Zubizarreta (Spain) 132.
