Targeting a convoy of the International Coalition in Diwaniyah

Al-Diwaniyah -ALSHARQIYA  March 3: An explosive device targeted a convoy of the International Coalition Forces in the Diwaniyah Governorate, southern Iraq, in an almost daily escalation of armed operations targeting the coalition forces in Iraq
Security sources reported that an explosive device planted by unidentified persons exploded while a convoy of trucks loaded with logistical materials for the International Coalition was passing on the Diwaniyah highway.
The explosion did not result in any casualties or material damage, according to the source.
During the past months, the targeting of logistical support convoys has escalated dangerously in several governorates, most notably Babil, Dhi Qar and Basra.
