Sinjar District Commissioner: Time to turn the judiciary into a demilitarized zone

Sinjar - ALsharqiya 3 August: The mayor of Sinjar, Mahma Khalil, called for the transfer of the judiciary to an Iraqi governorate and a demilitarized zone that allows only employees of official state institutions recognized to be stationed in it.

Khalil said in a statement that the illegal forces that came from outside the borders are still arriving and touring Sinjar without any deterrence and without any respect for all the laws of the country and the laws of humanity, and instead of Sinjar being a haven for the Yezidis who are voluntarily returning, they have become the land of new displacement.

Khalil called for achieving stability in Sinjar by expelling all terrorist elements and armed groups from them and starting a major reconstruction campaign there and providing services to them quickly.
