Russia proposes the creation of an OPEC-style grain organization

MOSCOW-ALSHARQIYA October 7  Russia's deputy prime minister in charge of agriculture has proposed the creation of an OPEC-style grain organization, the Interfax news agency reported. Russia, the world's largest wheat exporter, is one of the world's biggest oil producers but is not a member of OPEC. . He was minister of agriculture for 10 years until 2009. His remarks on Saturday marked the first time he had come back to the idea publicly since he returned to the government in 2018. Ensuring stability in the grain market, coordinating price policy and solving world hunger problems, including Russia, the European Union, the United States, Canada, Argentina and others.
