Owning 62 military houses belonging to the Ministry of Finance

Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA   July 29 : Official documents revealed the ownership of more than 60 high-ranking military figures in Iraq within a housing complex belonging to the Ministry of Finance located near Baghdad International Airport

The documents indicate that the Council of Ministers decided in its regular session on July 6, to own 62 homes for their occupants in return for a real allowance, as stated in the document issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The approval comes based on a reading submitted by the Minister of Defense on the first of last June for the purpose of owning homes for their occupants, each of which has an area of ​​130 square metres.

According to the 2013 Sale and Rent of State Property Law, according to which most state real estate was owned, the Council of Ministers has the right to sell and rent movable and immovable state property, with the exception of the procedures stipulated in the law.
