Officials: The attacks are a response to Al-Kazemi's reform agenda

Basra-ALSHARQIYA   September  15 :  Security and diplomatic sources told France Press that targeting Western diplomatic or military facilities throughout Iraq within 24 hours is an indirect way to pressure the Iraqi government, which is trying to fight corruption.
Senior Iraqi officials told France Press that they interpret these attacks as a response to the reform agenda proposed by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, which some armed parties fear will deplete their financial resources, according to the agency.
