More than 19 million cases of Coronavirus in the world

London-East, August 8: As of Saturday, the countries of the world have recorded more than 19 million infections and more than 715,000 deaths from the Coronavirus since it first appeared in China late last year.

The virus has reappeared in areas where it appeared to have receded, and is spreading across India and Africa. 

The number of injuries in India doubled in three weeks, to 2 million on Friday, following a record daily toll of 60,000 additional injuries. 

India has become the third country, after the United States and Brazil, with more than two million injuries.
