Hassan Diab said in a press conference, hours after the explosion that shook the Lebanese capital Beirut: It is a catastrophe that we can only overcome with determination and determination to face this serious challenge and its devastating consequences.
He added: What happened today will not pass without an account. Those responsible for the disaster will pay the price. This is a promise to the martyrs and the wounded, and a national commitment.
The Lebanese Prime Minister indicated that there will be facts announcing this dangerous warehouse, which has been in existence since 2014, saying: I will not anticipate the investigations, because now is the time to deal with the disaster, and for the martyrs to be treated and the wounded to be treated.
During the speech, Diab reaffirmed his accountability for those responsible, and added, "I promise you that this catastrophe will not pass without responsibility and those responsible for it."
