Lebanese Prime Minister calls for early elections

Beirut-ALsharqiya, August 8: Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab called on the political parties to immediately agree to hold early elections, indicating that there would be no more than two months in power as a transitional phase.

Diab said in a televised speech that the judicial procedures give an indication of the credibility of the investigation, pointing out that what is required is that there be national responsibility in light of the circumstances that Lebanon is going through.
