Kurdistan Finance Minister: The Baghdad government pledged to send 200 billion dinars per month

Erbil-ALsharqiya, September 26: The Minister of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Awat Sheikh Janab, said on Sunday that the regional government had obtained assurances from the federal government to continue sending an amount of 200 billion dinars per month to finance the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector. In a press conference, Sheikh Janab expressed his hope that this amount would continue to be sent on a monthly basis in order to secure the salaries of the region’s employees, and that the government in Kurdistan would not have to deduct or delay salaries again.
