Jordanian Prime Minister: The security of Iraq is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom

Jordan-ALSHARQIYA  September 19: Jordanian Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh reiterated the Kingdom's keenness on the security and stability of Iraq and its construction process, and said that Iraq's security is an integral part of Jordan's security and stability
This came during Al-Khasawneh's reception in Amman, Iraqi Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya.
Al-Khasawneh referred to the directives of King Abdullah II of Jordan, which always focus on developing bilateral relations with Iraq, as well as paying attention to the Jordanian-Iraqi-Egyptian tripartite cooperation mechanism, which would serve the Arab cooperation process within a broader framework.
For his part, Al-Ghanimi praised the level of security cooperation and coordination between the two sides, stressing that the borders between the two countries remained stable and secure despite the circumstances and challenges imposed by terrorist groups in many Iraqi regions.
