Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA   January 27: The head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, expressed his despair at the role of the United Nations after it failed in Iraq, Lebanon and Libya, and the Iraqis must rely on themselves to make change and corrections.
Allawi added to Al-Sharqiya News that if the United Nations was serious about Iraq issues, it would have worked to return the displaced of Jurf al-Sakhar to their homes.
Iyad Allawi warned that the dishonest electoral competition in Iraq places the elections in the circle of doubt about integrity, stressing that the weakness of the political process has created chaos in Iraq and there is no solution without holding a national conference that represents the aspirations of all Iraqis.
