Iraqi Ministry of Health: large quantities of Aktimra treatment arrived

Baghdad-ALsharqiya, July 16: The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Thursday the arrival of large quantities of treatment for Aktemra and distributed it to the health departments of Baghdad and the provinces in order to distribute them to people living with HIV.

The ministry said in a statement that the State Company for Marketing Medicines and Medical Supplies announced the arrival of large quantities of Aktemra treatment from sober international sources.

  The statement indicated that dispensing this drug to patients infected with Coronaviruses will be as per the recommendation of the specialized medical team for each infected case.
