Iran suspends its "cooperation" with the European Union countries in several areas, in response to the sanctions

Tehran -ALSHARQIYA   April  13 : Iran suspended its cooperation with the European Union countries in several fields in response to the sanctions imposed by the bloc on eight Iranian officials
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Tehran would suspend any dialogue on human rights with the European Union and any cooperation that would result from this dialogue, especially on the issue of terrorism, combating drug trafficking and refugees.
The European Union had imposed new sanctions on eight Iranian officials for their role in the violent suppression of the November 2019 demonstrations in Iran.
