India rains death toll rises to 152

Maharashtra-ALsharqiya, July 24: The death toll from the monsoon rains in India has risen to 125, who were killed in separate accidents, officials announced Saturday. The Maharashtra state government said in a statement that the heavy rains that fell on different parts of the state and were accompanied by high tides and flooding of dams in different areas led to torrential rains and floods in several areas. The rains that have been falling since Thursday have caused the collapse of a building in Bombay, landslides and buried dozens of homes, while 59 people are still missing.
