Heavy gunfire in the Al-Amin area of Baghdad

Baghdad-ALSharqiya, July 4: Violent armed confrontations broke out this morning and continued until noon in the Al-Amin area, east of Baghdad, wounding a number of people, including an officer, and burning a police patrol wheel.

The residents of the Al-Amin area woke up last night to the occurrence of heavy gunfire between two armed parties following a dispute on a bicycle, while local sources said that the situation was out of control and the police forces were unable to intervene and resolve the conflict.
