Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA   January 13: The head of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, stressed the necessity of setting a realistic date for holding early elections in Iraq, in the first statement by the head of the highest judicial authority in Iraq about setting the date for elections
Judge Zaidan's statements came during his attendance at the meeting of the three authorities in Baghdad, as well as the second meeting between the heads of the three authorities and the election commission, in the presence of the UN representative, where he stressed the need to set the date for the next elections with a realistic date during which the election commission would be able to hold free and fair elections.
