David Hale: Iraqis want democracy and factions are stealing the state

Washington-ALSHARQIYA  September  25 : US Under Secretary of State David Hale accused Iranian-backed armed factions in Iraq of being an obstacle to the stability of this country.
Hill said during a hearing in the US Senate that the Iraqi people have aspirations for democratic rule, but armed groups are carrying out assassinations, sectarian violence and theft of state resources .. Hill added that Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazimi began to restore the sovereignty of the Iraqi state with the efforts made to fight Corruption and the seizure of uncontrolled weapons in the hands of armed groups that, with Iranian support, spread corruption and terrorism in the whole region.
