Central Bank: Washington pledged to protect Iraq's reserves

Baghdad-ALsharqiya July 27: The Central Bank of Iraq announced that the legal authorities in the United States of America confirmed that all the reserves and funds of the Central Bank of Iraq are fortified and that no party can seize them and they are protected under American laws. A statement by the Iraqi Central stated that Washington pledged to defend the immunity of Iraq's reserves with the rest of the countries, and that Iraq will complete during the coming period the full payment of compensation and benefits accrued from it before 2003, and this will lead to the lifting of international immunity for Iraq's funds abroad and will be subject to implementation by some creditors from parties and other companies.
