Beirut Governor: About 300,000 people have been displaced in the capital

Beirut-ALsharqiya, August 5: The Governor of Beirut announced that about 300,000 people have been displaced, after the destruction resulting from the port explosion on Tuesday affected about half of its area.

Marwan Abboud said that he estimated the cost of the damages caused by the damages to be between three and five billion dollars, and that the government is awaiting the final reports by engineers and experts, describing the current situation as a catastrophe that Beirut has not witnessed in its history.
