Beirut explosion: Continued efforts to search for dozens of missing persons

Beirut-ALSHARQIYA   August 6 : The Lebanese Civil Defense continues to inspect the damaged buildings in search of casualties or injured, while volunteers were distributed in small groups to remove pieces of glass, while some of them offered their homes to the residents of the damaged houses.

Other volunteers send people to the homes of the disabled and the handicapped to help them find homes to sleep in and also to clean and arrange their homes. 

And in Beirut itself ... residents opened their doors to receive relatives, friends, or even strangers from them whose homes were damaged and became uninhabitable. 

Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud announced Thursday that between 250,000 and 300,000 residents of Beirut have become homeless after their homes have become uninhabitable.
