Washington-ALsharqiya, November 28: An official in the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, revealed that an aircraft carrier has been moved to the Persian Gulf region. CNN quoted a Pentagon official as saying that moving the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz to the Gulf region with other warships, indicating that this step will provide combat support with the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq and Afghanistan.
