Umm Qasr- AlSHARQIYA:Oct 30: All operations at the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr were halted, officials at the port of Umm Qasr said. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the entrance of the port of Umm Qasr and waved to block the port in case they did not respond to their legitimate demands. Umm Qasr receives imports of cereals, vegetable oils and sugar shipments that feed the country, which is largely dependent on imported food.
