Al-Kazemi directs to send military reinforcements to the border with Syria

Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA  June 10: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, instructed to strengthen security on the Iraqi border with Syria to prevent infiltration and smuggling.

The commander-in-chief’s orders included equipping the border strip with thermal cameras and energy devices, strengthening military units, continuing to intensify intelligence efforts, and strengthening coordination between all security and intelligence services. Al-Kazemi’s directive came after the Iraqi authorities announced three days ago the arrest of six infiltrators from Syria, including a woman.
