Al-Amiri calls for early elections in April 2021

Baghdad-ALsharqiya, August 3: The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, proposed a new date for the early legislative elections in the country, after Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi announced that the elections would be held on June 6, 2021.

Al-Ameri said in a statement that the Al-Fateh coalition welcomes the holding of early elections and believes that the best time for them is the beginning of next April 2021.

The Al-Fateh Alliance announced by its head of the parliamentary bloc to work with the remaining parliamentary blocs to complete the legislations related to conducting the elections according to the plans laid down by the presidents of the executive and legislative branches.
