Aboul Gheit speaks from Beirut about the willingness to mobilize Arab efforts to provide aid to Lebanon

Beirut-ALsharqiya August 8: The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, said that he would seek to mobilize Arab energies to provide support to Lebanon after the massive explosion that destroyed parts of Beirut.

  Aboul Gheit added, in statements to reporters after his meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, that the League is ready to share Arab cards for anything related to the investigation of the Beirut Port tragedy.

  "The Arab League is ready to support what is available," he said, adding that he would participate in an international conference organized by France on Sunday to discuss providing aid to Lebanon.
