A bomb exploded on a British diplomatic convoy in Baghdad

Baghdad-AlSHARQIYA  September  15 : A British diplomatic convoy in Baghdad was attacked with an explosive device, without causing any injuries.
 The British Embassy in Iraq said in a statement that an improvised explosive device attack targeted British diplomatic cars in the Iraqi capital, but did not result in injuries.
 A diplomatic source told Agence France-Presse that the device targeted a British embassy vehicle that was returning from Baghdad airport, noting that this was the first attack on a British government vehicle in Iraq in more than a decade.


The President of the Iraqi Jamahiriya, Barham Salih, and the Head of the Salvation and Development Front, Osama al-Nujaifi, stressed the importance of creating the appropriate atmosphere for holding the elections

The head of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, warned that there are suspicious parties fueling the situation and endangering peaceful security in Iraq
